Website Development Cost in Pakistan (2026): What You Should Actually Pay
Honest price ranges for websites in Pakistan — simple business sites, professional builds, ecommerce stores and custom platforms — what actually changes the price, and how to spot a quote that will hurt you later.
Every week someone asks us the same question: "Website banwane ka kitna kharcha aata hai? What does a website actually cost in Pakistan?" The honest answer is that there is no official price — but there are real market ranges, and knowing them before you talk to an agency (or a freelancer, or your cousin who "does computers") is the difference between paying fairly and paying twice.
This guide is based on what Pakistani providers are actually advertising in 2026, what we see when businesses come to us with quotes in hand, and what hides underneath the numbers.
The short answer: website price ranges in Pakistan (2026)
Type of website
Typical market range (PKR)
What you should check
Simple / template business site
25,000 – 80,000
Content, revisions, mobile work, who owns the files
Professional business website
80,000 – 250,000+
Planning, original design, SEO setup, testing
Ecommerce store
80,000 – 600,000+
Product count, payments, delivery, training
Custom platform / web application
Quoted after scoping
Roles, data, integrations, security, maintenance
A PKR 60,000 quote can be perfectly fair for a focused, well-built site. A PKR 400,000 quote can also be fair if it contains research, original design, engineering and testing. And a PKR 25,000 quote can be the most expensive decision you make this year — if what you get is a rented template on a monthly treadmill.
What actually changes the price
1. Template vs custom. A template site borrows someone else's design and structure; it's fast and cheap but looks like everyone else and caps what you can add later. A custom build is designed and engineered for your business — it costs more upfront and belongs to you outright. Our entire approach at RRRTX Systems is custom-built, because we've repeatedly seen businesses outgrow templates and pay twice.
2. Page count and content. Who writes the text? Who takes the photos? Content is the most underestimated line item in every website project. A ten-page site with professional copy costs more than a ten-page site with lorem ipsum — and converts ten times better.
3. Ecommerce specifics. Product count matters less than flows: cash-on-delivery handling, courier integration, WhatsApp ordering, wholesale vs retail pricing. Our ecommerce work focuses on exactly these — see the Janjua Sports case study for what a real COD-first Pakistani storefront involves.
4. Integrations and automation. Connecting your website to your CRM, your WhatsApp, your inventory — each integration is real engineering. It's also where the ROI lives: automation that captures and follows up every enquiry pays for itself fastest.
5. Who's building it. A student, a freelancer, an agency, or an engineering studio will quote wildly different numbers for "a website" that isn't the same product. Ask what happens after launch — that's where the difference shows.
The costs nobody puts in the quote
Domain and hosting: PKR 3,000–10,000/year, typically. Ask who owns the domain — it should be you.
Maintenance: updates, backups, small changes. Either a monthly retainer or an hourly rate. Get this in writing.
Content and photography: stock photos are free-ish; a product shoot is not.
The second website: the one you'll need if the first one is built badly. This is the biggest hidden cost in the market. Our website rebuild service exists almost entirely because of it.
WordPress vs modern custom builds
Most cheap quotes in Pakistan are WordPress themes with plugins stacked on plugins. WordPress is a legitimate tool — but for a business that intends to grow, a modern custom build (like the Next.js platforms we build) is faster, safer, dramatically better for Google rankings, and yours outright. The right question isn't "WordPress ya custom?" — it's "Who owns this when we're done, and what can it become?"
How RRRTX prices (honestly)
We publish our pricing instead of hiding it: Discovery & Strategy from $100–$300, project-based builds from $500–$10,000 depending on scope, and growth retainers from $500/month. For Pakistani businesses we quote in PKR after understanding the actual requirement — tell us what you're building on WhatsApp and you'll get a real number, not a sales dance.
Is a PKR 25,000 website worth it?
For a hobby project, maybe. For a business, a bottom-of-market quote almost always means a template, borrowed images, no SEO, and a developer who disappears. Budget PKR 60,000–150,000 for a business site that actually earns its place.
How long does a website take in Pakistan?
A focused business site: 2–4 weeks. Ecommerce: 4–8 weeks depending on catalogue and integrations. Anyone promising 48 hours is selling you a template with your logo pasted on it.
Do I need SEO from day one?
You need structure from day one — speed, headings, metadata, clean code — which is a build decision, not an add-on. Ongoing SEO (content, links, local presence) comes after. Start with our free automation readiness check or an SEO & AEO conversation.
What should I ask before signing anything?
Four questions: Who owns the code and domain? What happens after launch? What exactly is included — revisions, content, training? And can I talk to a past client? If any answer is vague, walk away.
Prices in this guide are market observations as of 2026, quoted in PKR, and will vary by provider and scope. This guide is not a quote — message us with your actual requirement and we'll give you a specific one.
